One of the most popular gospel groups in America, Harlem Gospel Choir, is going to perform in four Bulgarian cities in November 2009.
The Harlem Gospel Choir, which the US President Barack Obama personally selected to support him during his presidential elections campaign, will be in Bulgaria for the first time at the invitation of the Sofia-based producer company ART BG.
The concerts in Bulgaria will be part of the Choir's world tour in memory of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, who died in June, 2009.
The Harlem Gospel Choir will have concerts at the the Culture and Sports Palace in Varna on November 10, in the opera house in Burgas on November 11, in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia on November 12, and in Hall 3 of the International Fair in Plovdiv on November 13.
The Harlem Gospel Choir was founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey on the occasion of January 15, the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
