Thousands of professionals from 15 different nations have visited the International Technology Fair in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv, which took place between September 29 and October 4.
The highly qualified specialists were over 60% of those who visited the expo, and more than half of them occupy high-ranking executive positions in their respective firms.
12% of these came from 14 foreign countries, the greatest number of guests being from Germany, the UK, Greece, Serbia, and Russia.
An average of 20 000 people visited the fair between September 29 and October 1, and the final data is expected to show an increase in the number of visitors during the second part of the forum.
According to a poll conducted by the Alpha Research Agency among the visitors, the single most important reasons that brought them to the Plovdiv Technology Fair was the presentation of new products and services. A total of 211 innovative goods and technologies were presented during the event.
The second most important factor for visiting the fair was the participation of the leading companies in their respective spheres. The number of the participants and their competitiveness were listed in the place.
97% of the visitors have stated that they would come to the Fall 2009 edition of the Plovdiv Technology Fair. Over 75% thought the 2008 was better than last year's.
