Over 20 million people have visited the Bulgarian pavilion at EXPO 2010 in Shanghais, shows information issued upon closing the even on October 31.
The exposition recorded the over 73 million visitors for 184 days. The nature, the unique architecture of the traditional Bulgarian house, the folklore, the quality of Bulgarian wine and yogurt – these are the things that impressed visitors most, comments the director of the pavilion Hristina Koleva.
The exposition was assessed as very interesting by European Commissioner for Foreign Policy Catherine Ashton. This is one of the most impressive presences at Expo 2010, said Shanghais’ Deputy Mayor Dziao Wan during Bulgaria’s National Day. The exposition of the Bulgarian stand concentrated on the theme “a town of shared heritage”.
