Greek delegation of Mayors, municipal councilors and exoerts is expected to visit Plovdiv and meet the Plovdiv Mayor, Dr Chomakov, on Monday, Jan.30th, 2006, at 1 PM. Its aim is to research and collect info about traditional old buildings. After the official part, the delegation plans to meet the Old Town of Plovdiv.
The delegation is led by the Xanthi Mayor, Mihalis Stilianidis. The delegation will also research the traditional buildings in Smolyan, Chepelare and Assenovgrad. The idea is a special tourist map with the locations of preserved traditional buildings to be made.
