A symposium dedicated to the Bio-Informatics took place in Plovdiv last week. The Plovdiv branch of the Technical University (TU)has a Bio-Informatics group functioning there (BI SIG), founded and supervised by the TU Plovdiv Branch Director, Ass. Prof. Katsov, associated with BISC CIBI SIG at the UC Berkeley, California.
