Anniversary of the birth of the artist Tsanko Lavrenov

The famous Bulgarian artist tsanko Lavrenov was born on Nov.24, 1896, in Plovdiv. He graduated fromt he French College in Plovdiv and then attended a private art school in Vienna (1920-21) but never graduated. After his coming back to Plovdiv, he joined the South Bulgarian Artists Association anf his first participation in a joint exhibition of these artists was in 1923, with eight paintings of his.
