April 4th is the day Bulgaria celebrates Atlantic Solidarity Day. This date, together with 9 May ? Europe Day, will be celebrated every year.
Bulgaria joined the North Atlantic Treaty NATO on 29 March 2004. The celebrating of 4 April as Atlantic Solidarity Day is expected to become a good tradition in the future.
