Bulgaria is a place of interest for Dutch tourists...

Although pack tours for Bulgaria surpass the prices of those to some really exotic destinations, it is yet expected the tendency of the high rate of tourists coming from the Netherlands to be preserved, the BG Tourism Agency reported. That became clear at the Vakantiebeurs Tourism Exhibition in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Jan.10-15th, 2006.

The Dutch are among the nations most traveling in the world - with two or three average trips per year per capita. Due to the geographic location of their country, Dutch tourists are looking for sunny destinations basically. Another tourist item they are very interesting in is mountain resorts.

25, 874 Dutch tourists visited Bulgaria in 2004, which was a growth of 19.03% compared to previous year. The first 10 months of 2005 the Dutch tourists visiting our country were 30,315, which is a 48.06% growth compared to same period of 2004.
