The Plovdiv businessman, Todor Todorov, is going to invest in a large hotel of 370 beds in the Byala Cherkva (i.e. White Church) mountain resort in the Rhodope Mountains. The investors is planning to build seven ski-runs with a total length of 10 km. Byala Cherkva keeps its snow cover longer than Pamporovo ski-resort, but it also features water resources, which will allow the making of artificial snow.  Tthe key point though is its location - the place is quite close to Plovdiv to turn into a really popular ski resort!
