East Roumelia between Europe and the Orient project

A multimedia project developed by a team of the History Museum - Plovdiv and the Plovdiv High School of Math is going to be presented today, November 22nd, 2006, at 10.00 am at the Suedinenie Hall of the museum. The team includes Maria Karadecheva, curator of the Plovdiv History Museum, and the students Konstantin Angelov and Ventsislav Dimitrov.

The project aims to help school curriculums with information on the East Roumelia and the Unification of Bulgaria (1885). The muktimedia is interactive and could be sed by teachers and students as well as museum visitors.

The Plovdiv Mayor, Dr Chomakov, is invited to the presentation, as well as the Minister of Education, Daniel Vultchev, his Deputy, Kiril Atanassov, and the Rector of the Plovdiv Technical University.
