Real and legendary, close and elusive, common and unique? All that the concept of ?Levski? stands for is dear to every Bulgarian. Therefore each of us bears Levski in our hearts as a unique figure and as a multifaceted dimension of Bulgarian national virtues. Vassil Levski?s name and his life-work have become a symbol of everything most spiritual and typically Bulgarian throughout the 13 centuries of BG history.

?When it refers to Bulgarian matters, time is within us and we are within time, Time turns us upside down and so do we?? Vassil Levski

History has justly attributed for Levski the only award he had ever wanted for himself and had ever promised to those who participated in his work ? immortality and the love of the generations to come?
