Maritsa Newspaper informs us that for three months in 2004 the investments from Italy reach 657 million Euro. The registered Italian companies in BG reached the number of 1977, 1080 of which function in Sofia and 267 in Plovdiv. In the whole Plovdiv region (including the Pazardzhik area and the Rhodope mountains part which is closest to Plovdiv) the number of the Itaslian companies is above 400.

During the Prime Ministers visit to Spain, Spanish investors have expressed their large interest in yoghurt production, in the privatization of energy sector associations and other sectors, was reported by Plamen Ezekiev, Executive Director of the Investment Agency. Bulgarian delegation to Madrid presented our country by the quality employees we offer and our competitive pricing. The main issue is whether Bulgaria can beat the competition of Roamnia or Greece, added Mr. Ezekiev.
