From August 1st to August 5th, Plovdiv will be hosting the International Folklore Festival for 12th time in a row. The event once again has been organized by Plovdiv Municipality Culture Department. Participants from Greece, Congo, Moldova, Poland, Serbia and Montenegro, Turkey, Czech Republic and Bulgaria are going to take part in the festival. The concerts are going to take place on the stage of the Ancient Theatre in the Old Town and in the Tsar Simeon?s Garden right at the very center of the city. Free admission.

The most popular Belgium choir ? the Cantate Domino Choir is going to be the guest of the BG children choir ?Detska Kitka?. The concerts are going to take place July 31st, Sunday, 6 PM, at the Plovdiv Ethnography Museum and August 1st, at the Holy Heart of Jesus Church in the town of Rakovski. Free admission.
