June 8th, 2007, Friday – the Plovdiv Beer Festival opens with the music of the folk singer Anelia. The Festival closes at the end of the month. Each night a different singer will perform to the Plovdiv audience, the organizers promised.

June 9th, 2007, Saturday, 10.00 AM – the Concert Hall will be hosting the anniversary concert on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the oldest Plovdiv children’s choir “Detska Kitka”.

June 10th, 2007, Sunday, 9.00 AM – the Concert Hall will be hosting the Festival of the Artistic Club Groups from Plovdiv and the region, organized by the Union of the Retired, and under the special guardianship of the Plovdiv Mayor. Free entrance.

June 10th, 2007, Sunday, 8.00 PM – the Ancient Theater in the Old Town will be hosting the official opening of the 50th anniversary Eurovision Summer Games. The anniversary competition will be accompanied by an extensive culture program and will feature the participation of more than 300 radio and TV journalists from 12 European countries. The Plovdiv Mayor will address the participants.
