Hand Theater opened in Plovdiv

New theater opened in Plovdiv yesterday - "Hand Theater" is the name of a drama formation, initially created by Ivomir Ignatov in Paris, France in 1990.

Its Plovdiv address now is 18, Ruski Blvd. (right next to the Drujba Private School).

The theater is named "Hand Theater" after the performances they make with "bare hands" only. Hand Theater performs an eclectic mix of pantomime, puppet theater for children and adults, drama theater, situational comedy, stand-up comedy, buffoonery, street theater. Their repertoire features a comedy approach and the goal of their performances is to make messages as clear as possible.
