The 21th edition of the International Olympiad in Informatics that is taking place in Plovdiv Aug.8-15,2009, will be officially opened Aug.9 by the Bulgarian President, Georgi Purvanov.Teams from 83 countries will be participating in the competition in Pavilion 11 of the Plovdiv International Fair.Bulgaria is hosting for a second time since 1989, which has never happened before in the history of this event.
