Plovdiv Municipality Budget is expected to be discussed at today?s municipal councilors meeting. According to scheduled, the total sum of the budget amounts to 122,428,000 BGN. The ?Coalition of Plovdiv? councilors have pointed that they would not support the that budget unless it is increased by 4 million BGN for reconstruction of municipal hospitals in Plovdiv.

The United Democratic Forces Union councilors, though, would not accept such an amendment as health care is priority of the state, not the municipality, and moreover, privatization of health care facilities is forthcoming. Today?s session of the Municipal Council is expected to approve the last year?s budget realization.
