Kalofer - the Hristo Botev's town
BG Vicepresident, Angel Marin, arrives tonight in Kalofer to be present at the festivities dedicated to the 157th anniversary of the birth of the eminent Bulgarian poet and revolutionary, Hristo Botev (January 6th). The official celebration is going to start at 6 PM in the Kalofer Community Centre, and will be officially opened by the Mayor of the town, Hristo Boev.

Latest archaeological findings near Karlovo - the town of roses
Unique gold treasure dated from the Stone-Copper period has been excavated from the land of the Dubene village, some 5 km away from Karlovo. Unfortunately, the Karlovo community as well as the official institutions have been totally unaware of that fact. 450 items with total weight of 80 grams have been found there. The incredible beauty of the details is astonishing and it is hardly to believe that those gold items have been made without the help of a magnifying glass! The expedition has been led by Martin Hristov from the National Museum of History. The ancient collection is believed to be 2000 older than the time of Priamus, King of Troy....
