Since November 17th an exhibition has been opened at the Ivan Vazov National Library in Plovdiv of paintings by the eminent Russian painters Elena and Nikolay Riorich. The exhibition was organised thanks to Todor Yalamov-Fedyata and the National Associaltion ?Friends of Riorich?.Nikolay Riorich is one of the tutors of contemporary philosophy by means of his paintings, his philosophic and scientific papers, also of his personal example and fruitful activities. He establishes a movement for mutual consent between the different nations, based on international cooperation, which continuously serves as the basis to beauty and knowledge.Riorich?s paintings have nothing to do with religious mysticism. The basic trend in his works is pantheism. We believe that history will find the right moment to incorporate the true assets of the Riorichs, in terms of art value as well as influence on the world peace movements? That might be the moment when the great paintings with motives from the East will truly become somewhat more accessible to ordinary men?
