Paying tribute to the late Plovdiv artist Dimiter Kirov on the occasion of his 75th anniversary

A special celebration is taking place in the Old Town today on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the late Plovdiv artist, Dimiter Kirov

His wife, Rusalia Kirova, is the organizer of that event. Dimiter Kirov would have turned 75 today and would have celebrated that day the way he always did for over 30 years - by opening another individual exhibition of his. He had a dream in his life that never came true - to open a contemporary art gallery.

So, today, that dream is coming true... His fans will be able to attend the official opening of a "Dimiter Kirov Permanent Exhibition" in the Plovdiv Artists House Museum in the Old Town.

Rusalia Kirova will be presenting her book of memoirs on their 45 years of happy marriage. Performance by the violinist Micho Dimitrov.
