The exhibition ?Plovdiv ? Ancient and Eternal? , with the participation of all Plovdiv museums, has the goal to resurrect the ?lost ethnographic memory? of Plovdiv citizens?. The unique exhibition is going to take place on the initiative of the Plovdiv Municipality, of the Directors of Plovdiv Cultural Institutes and the Plovdiv International Fair. The exhibition opens at the newly reconstructed Pavilion 6 on an area of 6000 sq.m.
For two months in a row, the citizens of Plovdiv are going to have the opportunity to see absolutely new never-seen-so-far items from the museums? collections that give so much information about the unique nature, history, ethnographic heritage and culture of our city, which has turned into the centre of the European Southeast, featuring a leading role in the economic and cultural life of the BG nation.
The exhibition will be open Mondayt through Saturday, 10 am ? 6 pm, the admission fee is 1 BGN for adults and 0.50 BGN for children. It opens officially today, 4 PM.
