On February 5, for the tenth year in a row Bulgaria marks Safer Internet Day. The event is initiated by the EC programme for Safer Internet aiming at engaging the public with the cause for a better and safer Internet medium for children and young people. This year’s topic of the event is “Online rights and responsibilities of young people”. The ban line for online safety was created with the aim to consult children, parents and professionals in cases related to problems and risks for kids in the net. Marking the day, Bulgaria’s National Assembly hosts a youth discussion entitled “Rights and Responsibilities in the Internet”.
