On an invitation by the European Commission, Bulgaria joined the initiative “European Day Car Free Day - September 22”, first started by France in 1998 and has since been celebrated in over 1000 all over Europe.

In our country the event has been organized by: Parallel Universe Ltd., Regional Inspection of Control and Preservation of Public Health – Plovdiv and State Automotive Inspection; in cooperation with Municipal Commission of Road Safety, Traffic Police, Regional Educational Inspectorate, Regional Management – Plovdiv. Media partners: Trud newspaper, Radio Vitosha, Plovdiv24.com, Maritsa newspaper, Radio FM+.
