Plovdiv Regional Manager, Todor Petkov, Art Zone Association and the sculptor Vesselin Lambrev were responsible for an interesting cultural event today, Oct.1, 11 am - the offical unveiling of the Teatorn sculpture, outside the Plovdiv Drama Theater.
The Teatron plastics (see the photo above) has been ordered by the Plovdiv Theatrical Society back in 1993. The name was given by the theater critic Bogomil Stoilov. Vesselin Lambrev's project was approved by a number of art figures of Plovdiv: the late artist Ioan leviev, the writer Nikolay Kazandzhiev, theater critics Penka Kalinkova and Eshua Belo...
Its small-size version has been the award of the Plovdiv Theatrical Society handed to eminent actors and performances each December several years in a row. December is the month when the first Bulgarian professional theater - the Plovdiv Drama thater, ever opened in the country for public performances.
