Bulgaria’s best tennis lady Tsvetana Pironkova started with a victory her performance at the China Open tournament in Beijing (prize money USD 5 427 105). In the first round of qualifications Pironkova eliminated Nicole Gibbs, USA after a turning point with 4:6, 6:2 and 7:5. The match continues little over two hours. This is Pironkova’s first victory since US Open. In the next step of the tournament she is to face Ajla Tomljanovic from Croatia. The two have not met on the court in official matches so far.
