The BG military base in Kerbala under mortar fire

The Bulgarian military base in Kerbala, Iraq, has been under heavy mortar fire last night, 10.20 pm BG time, the Bulgarian Defence Ministry reported. Luckily, there was noone hurt and no serious damages done to the buildings.

US aviation shot fire on the Shiite quarter of Baghdad called Sadr City. There was another air strike on the Sunni town of Faludja, with three people killed and six injured.
