The Plovdiv Awards will be handed out on May 20, 2010

The official ceremony is scheduled for May 20, in close proximity to May 24 - the Day Of the Slavic Alphabet, and Bulgarian  Enlightenment and Culture Day. Among those engaged in the organization of the award ceremony are the jazz man Peter Dzhurkov (in change of the music), Alexey Kouzhukharov (the screen writer) and the hosts Irmena Chichikova and Ivaylo Hristov.

Nominations for the Plovdiv Award have been done in various artistic fields: theater, fine arts, music, literature, architecture, photography, cinematography, and arts for children.
