The latest news in gastroenterology at the "Medicus, Dento, Galena" exhibition 2009

Gastroenterology is the focus of this year's focus of the annual "Medicus, Dento, Galena" exhibition taking place in Plovdiv.

The scientific conference featuring a practical session for PhD training is also focused on it. The event, organized by the Bulgarian Gastroenterology Society, is running for three days - October 21 through 24, 2009. Modern methods for diagnostics and treatment of liver, abdominal and bowel diseases will be presented at the conference.

Pharmaceutical companies will be presenting medications for this field of medicine as well.

About 165 companies from 23 countries have confirmed so far their participation at the exhibition - 48 more than last year's participants, and from 4 more countries. Bulgarian participants this year are 96 (which is 27 more than last year's.

SPASSOVDEN (always on Thursday, 40 Days after Easter - “Ascension Day” or “Ascension of the Lord”): The great feast called the Spassovden or Ascension Day is connected to the eternal human wish for health and joy.
