The organizers of the Book Festival “Plovdiv Reads” have donated 1500 volumes to

The organizers of the Book Festival “Plovdiv Reads”  have donated 1500 volumes (published by Plovdiv publishing houses) to more than 50 school and community center libraries. Plovdiv Municipality also participated in the donation, with the amount of 10,000 BGN. The donation was publicly announced and handed today, at a special ceremony in the Plovdiv Municipality meeting hall.

Each of the donated books bears the “Plovdiv Reads” print. Stoyo Vartolomeev, Manager of the Hermes Publishing House, expressed the wish the BG Culture Ministry to fund the full renovation of school and community center libraries, estimated to 16-18 million BGN.
