Tsvetana Pironkova - 34th in the world rankings

Tsvetana Pironkova climbed one place ahead in the weekly edition of the world rankings and now occupies the 34th position which is her record in the ranking.

This 34th place offers genuine chance to Pironkova to be placed in the main scheme of US Open in August. 32 tennis players are set in the master scheme, but Justine Henin and Dinara Safina are permanently injured and according to preliminary expectations the two tennis players will miss the U.S. Open.

However, we should not exclude the option that the two former ? 1 could decide to return to court earlier than expected, and to play the US Open.
