Scientists from the Heidelberg University, Germany, confirmed the hypothesis of Bulgarian archaeologists regarding the oldest writing script in Europe, the Perperikon archaeological expeditions manager Nikolay Ovcharov announced to Bulgarian National TV. According to the German scientists, the findings are more than 35 centuries old and are written in the ancient letters, used by the Crete-Mycenae civilization. Only the hieroglyphic writing scripts (the ones in Asia and Africa) are older than it.
