Silicon-free breast, tightened in a scanty bra, and a spectacular costume demonstrated the prima of the famous Cuban Tropical Ballet yesterday. The journalists as well as the visitors in the Opera Caf? in Plovdiv were breathless when she started her passionate dance. The guests with hotter temperament joined her in the steps of the Cuban rhythms. The two spectacles in the City Concert Hall, scheduled December 21st and 22nd, will be a wonder world of samba, cha-cha, dancon, mambo, rumba and bolero, promised the Fidel Castro?s troup?s choreographer Barbaro Montanes.The Tropical Ballet was founded in 1996 by Wilfredo Figeyredo, artistic director and director of production. He graduated from the Cuban Academy of Arts and Dancing. As a dancer and choreographer he worked many years in Paris, where his professional endeavours had acquainted him with stars like Liza Minelli and Celine Dion. The whole troup consists of more than 50 people, some of which are performing in Cuba at the moment. The Tropical Ballet have performed in Canada, USA, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, Brazil, and in the President?s palace in Haiti. Their VIP audience included George Bush, while Fidel Castro has admitted it to be his most famous ballet ever.
