B. Radio VESSELINA Radio Vesselina is a national radio-net of local radio stations, broadcasting in the big cities of South Bulgaria. Radio Vesselina is one of the first non-state radio stations, which started in 1992 - the year which marked the beginning of the private broadcasting in the country. As a whole, the radio has a ten-year history. The National radio-net Vesselina covers the economically strong southern part of the country, attracting over 50% of the general volume of radio listeners in Bulgaria. It offers local and international music of all genres. Entertaining, cultural and musical broadcasts are an important part of the programme scheme of the radio - which, added to the news programmes, the popular night shows and the specialized programs, makes it a radio of multi-topical nature. The radio owns a recording musical studio and a producer company in Sofia. Radio Vesselina has awards and nominations from prestigious international contests such as the Silver Wave 2002 (Albena, Bulgaria) and PRIX EUROPA (Berlin, Germany). |
