A new bicycle factory is being built by the Maxcom company based in Plovdiv – the new factory is on an area of 34,000 sq.m., 23,000 sq.m. of which will be the building itself. It is at the Golyamo Konare Rd connecting the city with the Trakia Highway and the construction started January 2006.
The building is also expected to feature a bicycle store and spare parts store, as well as offices, café and a parking lot. The construction is expected to finish September 2006.
