Bulgaria will mark on November 19 the World COPD Day, which is an annual global event organized to improve awareness and care of the Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. On this occasion the Bulgarian Lung Association and the Association of Asthma Sufferers, launched a national campaign to prevent the disease and provide free-of-charge checks in 25 towns in the country. The initiative aims to raise public awareness of the disease and know how to recognize its symptoms.
