Bulgaria will have the lowest corporate profit tax in the EU – higher interest in investments expected
The corporate profit tax going down to 10% in the year 2007 – that was the decision of BG Parliament unanimously. This way, Bulgaria together with Cypress is going to have the lowest rates of corporate profit taxation in the whole of EU.
That will influence positively investments in our country and the development of BG economy, according to the financial expert Stoyan Alexandrov. The initial predictions were the profit tax to go down to 15% or even 12% but finally MPs decided it to be decreased to 10%.
