Representatives of the BG political authorities as well as of the opposition parties are expected to support the offer of the Plovdiv Mayor Dr Chomakov for the creation of a joint venture company with the businessman Georgi Gergov.

The Municipality is expected to apport in it an area of 11 decares located next to the St Petersburg Hotel, the parking lot outside the International Fair grounds and 12 properties in the Old Town. According to political parties representatives, the charter of the future joint venture  is going to guarantee municipality keeping at least 35% ownership after possible raising of capital by investments on the behalf of Mr Gergov.
