April 7th has been celebrated as the International Helath Day ever since 1950. On April 7th, 1948, in Geneva, Switzerland, the World Health Organisation (WHO), uniting 180 member countries, was founded. This year, the BG celebrations of the day will be organised with the motto "Let's Give a Chance to Each Child and Each Mother". That day has also been celebrated by all doctors, nurses, midwives, lab specialists as their professional feastday since 1964.
