The village of Stoikite lies in the center of the southern half of Bulgaria, in the very heart of the Rodopi Mountain, 15 km away from the county town of Smolyan and only 7 km away from the winter resort of Pamporovo. The village celebrates 300 years from its foundation on the 29th of June 2006. There will be a festive holy mass in the main church of the Stoikite village and a folklore concert.
