Zlatyu Boyadzhiev was born on October 22nd, 1903, in Brezovo, Plovdiv regin. He graduated from the Sofia Academy of Arts in 1932.
He painted portraits and compositions depicting village life as well as landscapes predominantly from Plovdiv and its vicinity. His paintings are kept in the National Art Gallery fund, in other Bulgarian and European galleries, as well as in private collections.
He died February 2nd, 1976, at the age of 73, in Plovdiv.
